 The city of Warrior is located in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is within both Jefferson and Blount counties traversed by I-65 and U.S. Highway 31 and northern suburb of Birmingham. Warrior derives its name from the nearby Black Warrior River. It became an incorporated in either 1889 or 1899. Warrior has an elevation of 564 feet above sea level. As of 2010 census, Warrior total population was 3,176 with a population density of 326.65/sq mi. Warrior Day is a yearly town festival in the city of Warrior which is held each year in autumn.
