Waterloo is a town located in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is within Lauderdale County included in the Florence–Muscle Shoals metropolitan area, known as "The Shoals" on the north shore of Pickwick Lake. The town has a Waterloo High School and by the Waterloo Volunteer Fire Department. Waterloo was incorporated in 1832. The first settlement of Waterloo was 1832. The town is elevated by 466 feet above sea level. As of the 2010 census, the total population was 203 with a population density of 264.71/sq mi. Zip code is 35677.
