Yakutat is a borough located in Alaska, USA. It was a former city in the Skagway–Yakutat–Angoon Census Area nestled in an isolated location in lowlands along the Gulf of Alaska to the west and Yukon Territory to the north. Yakutat was incorporated as a non-unified Home Rule Borough on September 22, 1992. The total area is 9,463 square miles at 59°32′49″N 139°43′38″W. It is elevated 69 feet above sea level.
