Zalma is a small town of Bollinger County in the U.S. State of Missouri. Formerly known as the Bollinger's Mill, Zalma has a total area of about 0.5 sq. kms. The city is principally a river town and is situated beside the river Castor. It is a part of the Jackson- Cape Girardeau MMSA. There are a number of state parks in the area.
The local school district of Zalma is operating a number of schools in the area. Most of the parks are located in and around the river of Castor and offers a number of facilities of bird watching, horse riding and also hiking facilities for the tourists in the area. Entertainment and recreation activities in the area are the main force behind the economy and it also helps in its growth. This further aids in the growth of other business and trade in the town.
